“For us, it has been a process to choose furniture and decor. We have very different tastes, but when we find something we both like, it feels right immediately. We have also bought things that didn’t turn out well and returned them. I am incredibly grateful that my husband is equally interested as I am”

“I love green and have painted almost the entire apartment in a greenish blue color. We have tried to stick to these colors except for our art, which is very colorful and adds some fun to our home. We also like living materials like wood and stone, and we enjoy mixing different fabrics and interior details in muted colors”

Were there any design elements that you particularly wanted to incorporate into your apartment, such as specific materials or finishes?

“We have a lot of wood and stone throughout the entire apartment. I like when there is a common thread and a consistent concept in a home, but I don’t want all the rooms to look the same. I try to create a unique style in each room. My favorite piece of furniture is my beautiful sofa from Rut & Joanna in green”
